The Briggs Group are delighted to announce it has recently acquired a consortia of three marine companies in Canada. The Companies; Foreshore Technologies, Balanced Environmental and Ocean Tech are based in North Vancouver, British Columbia and have been trading for 25 years.
Foreshore Technologies Inc. are a leading underwater survey and inspection company that specialises in diving, environmental survey, structural survey and marine operations, utilising innovative equipment and platforms for a broad range of clients.
Balanced Environmental Services Inc. are experts in permitting, licencing, consultation, applications, planning and project delivery, providing a service for clients with a diverse, requirement where sensitivity and accuracy is needed.
Ocean Tech Constructors Inc. are a leading harbour support company that specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of floats, gangways, pontoons and breakwaters.
Canadian Expansion
Briggs has been looking to expand into the Canadian market for some time. Whilst conducting a project in British Columbia, the management team became aware of the Foreshore Group of businesses and were impressed with their passion, innovation and quality in the marine sector, which is closely aligned to the company’s own philosophies. Their knowledge and unique understanding of the region represented an exciting opportunity for both parties.
